AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT
Extracurricular enrichment sessions are open to students age 4 and older, and take place daily from 3:15-4:30pm. Weekly enrichment sessions will be held indoors and/or outdoors, and offer our students another opportunity to be exposed to new skills, activities, and hobbies.
Students will start their afternoon activities with a snack from 3:15-3:30pm. Please send an after school snack to school with your child! See below for pick-up instructions.
*The session is priced at $30 per class. No additional credits or refunds will be given.

Track and Field with Ms. HintonTrack & field games include running, jumping, and throwing. In this class, we will enjoy fun races and lots of cardio games. We’ll have stations to learn and practice long jumps, high jumps, hurdles, and shot put. Introducing your child to track and field at an early age can ensure a lifelong love for the sport and enjoyment of fitness.
Artist’s Book Club with Ms. PeppelmanJoin Ms. Peppelman to explore literature through creative expression. Students will listen to a book and then engage in an art activity inspired by the story, allowing them to respond to the text in their own creative way. This class not only fosters a love for reading but also encourages creativity and artistic skills!

Harbor Hockey with Ms. HintonCome learn the fundamentals of playing hockey, and enjoy being a part of a team! Students will focus on fair play, teamwork, skill-building, coordination, and of course, fun!

Scrapbooking with Ms. ChoiMemories of loved ones or special life events are priceless. What better way to preserve these wonderful memories than for your child to create their own scrapbook. Students will be able to tell their story of what they have experienced which allows them to relive these memories for years to come. Each week, your child will decorate one page of their scrapbook with pictures of their choice and add embellishments to make the page special to them.
Toys From Around the World with Ms. ChangJoin us in exploring the rich cultural diversity of toy making traditions from various countries. Unleash your creativity and learn new skills while making toys that reflect the global tapestry of play and imagination. Come join the fun as we craft our way around the world!

Creative Enrichment Tae Kwon DoA popular enrichment class, Tae Kwon Do with the East West studio in Potomac, is back for another great semester! Boost your child’s confidence, fitness, and discipline with tae kwon do. Instruction focuses on improving each child’s attention span, ability to follow directions, and building confidence. Children love working towards goals, building character and respect, and learning self defense. This action packed class focuses on improving students’ concentration and enhancing their attention span as well as fun drills that develop and strengthen motor skills (balance, coordination, agility, etc.).

Extended Day Care Pick Up Instructions
Pick up times are at 4:30pm (at the conclusion of enrichment) and 5:30pm (at the conclusion of Later Gators). Should you choose to pick up your child outside of those timeframes, please call the school at 301-365-1100 and a teacher or administrator will bring your child to Entrance B. If you know in advance of your arrival time, feel free to email administration@theharborschool.org by 2:30 pm to let us know.
