Community Responsibilty
Ongoing Communication

The school is committed to transparent and open communication with the community, while respecting the confidentiality of families. The school communicates to the entire community whenever a classroom cohort must move to distance learning due to a positive case, COVID-like symptoms, or exposure. More specific, relevant information will be shared with families in the affected classroom cohort.

Community Wellness Pledge

Each member of the Harbor community must commit to following CDC safety guidelines in order to keep everyone safe. Families must sign the community wellness pledge prior to participating in in-person learning.

All non-essential travel is highly discouraged for the sake of the community. Out-of-state travel requires Covid-19 testing upon return, following a three day quarantine.

Social Functions

We have still been able to have successful community events while remaining physically distanced. Larger community events are held virtually, such as our annual gala and auction, community dance parties, and weekly bedtime stories with faculty and staff. Occasionally, small in-person family events by cohort have been possible, such as this fall’s Pajama Parties by campfire.
