Seesaw
Seesaw is an interactive platform for young learners and navigable by our older students. The site uses teacher-developed instructional videos, student posts, teacher feedback, and peer interaction. Seesaw is used for the asynchronous elements of our distance learning program.
Zoom
We use Zoom for live classes throughout the day. To address the needs (and attention spans) of our young learners, Zoom classes are interactive and usually about 30 minutes long, with breaks between classes. Small group and one-on-one sessions allow us to target individual learning goals. In addition, social/emotional learning and connection, as well as physical well-being, are important goals of distance learning.
