At Harbor, being an intentionally small community comes with the added and unique benefit of being extremely adaptable.
During the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, our small classes take on new meaning. In addition to allowing us to know students well and cultivate a warm classroom community where social/emotional learning is paramount, our small class sizes, low student:teacher ratios, and spacious campus with large classrooms and outdoor spaces enable us to facilitate uninterrupted, safe, socially-distanced learning — following CDC recommendations. Unlike larger schools, we do not have to consider modifying schedules or rotating children through in-person learning in order to serve all our students.
This 2020-2021 academic year, we are committed to providing your child an uninterrupted, well-rounded, and full education. Although our hope is to be in-person for the entirety of the school year, we have also prepared for times where we may not be able to be in the classroom together.* Our flexible and engaging Distance Learning Programs, HARBOR@HOME FLEX and HARBOR@HOME MAX will both deliver the curriculum in a variety of ways to meet your family’s needs — continuing your child’s progress, momentum, and curiosity.
*In-person learning will take place in accordance with state and county guidelines.
