HALLOWEEN AT THE BOAT SCHOOL
October 31, 2019

Dear Harbor Families,

One of our preschoolers affectionately calls Harbor “the boat school”. At this morning’s Halloween parade, it was even more true than usual. (It takes a great crew to steer this ship!)

One of my favorite parts of “Harborween” (coined by Kindergarten teacher Seth Fangboner) is the original costumes handmade by our preschool and JK students. Junior Kindergarten stuck with the nautical theme with mini boats, Preschool Fours were colorful crayons, and our Preschool Twos/Threes were little Pacmen (and women).

The students showed such pride parading around our courtyard and singing songs in front of all of you - pride in their hard work and original designs. This tradition is in line with what kids at Harbor are learning every day - how to work together in pursuit of creativity and originality!

Thanks again for coming to enjoy another fun Harbor tradition this morning. Wishing you all a safe and happy Halloween!

Warmly,

Leah Musico
