Dear Harbor Families,
At yesterday's all-school morning meeting, the faculty surprised our students with a Harbor School edition of the seasonal song "Let It Snow", complete with mittens, hats, and gloves - and a jazz hands finisher. Okay, it's a little cheesy, but we're early childhood educators after all! Tomorrow, check out the video on social media - and in the meantime, the words are below. During the long two weeks of winter break when your kids are missing Harbor, you can sing it with them!
Thank you for sharing your children with all of us at Harbor. It's an honor to work with them every day, and I for one, will miss them over the break! I wish you all a joyous and restful winter break and look forward to seeing everyone in 2019!
Warm regards,
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But our room is so delightful
Since we’re all learning to grow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
In enrichment I’ve done some bakin’
And we’ve got supplies for makin’
The orange and blue lights glow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we’re finally called to ride
How I hate going out in the storm
But if Calvin stays by my side
All the way to the car, I'll be warm
Oh I’ve got some books for readin’
But, my friends, we’re still in morning meeting
As long as you teach me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Winter break is quickly nearing
And excitement’s what we’re hearing
Oh the orange and blue lights glow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we’re finally called to ride
How I hate going out in the storm
But if Calvin stays by my side
All the way to the car, I'll be warm
Oh I’ve got some books for readin’
But, my friends, we’re still in morning meeting
As long as you teach me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Let it snow
Let it snow
Let it snow!
