Dear Harbor Families,
(It’s true. Fifty is right around the corner for me in 2024. How the heck did that happen so quickly?) But, before mine, there is another 50th birthday that I’m helping to plan, and I am really excited about!
Conceived in the fall of 1973, Harbor will be celebrating its 50th throughout the year next year! A planning committee has been meeting throughout the past months to think through celebratory events that will honor the rich history and consistent mission of the school for the past half century. We are excited to share more with you throughout the spring, as plans come together to bring the community together in celebration of a very special school.
In addition to elevating the community events that are traditionally enjoyed each year, such as the PJ Party and Book Fair, Spiral Night, Harbor’s Got Talent, and the auction, we look forward to bringing back family-focused events from Harbor’s past as well as new ways to engage the wider Harbor community. Stay tuned for more as plans come together, and get ready for a year-long celebration!
In the meantime, as we gear up for the final stretch of the school year, I wish you all a very happy and restful spring break, and we will see you in April!
Warmly,
Leah Musico
Head of School
