Dear Harbor Families,

I recently heard a parent describe tonight's event as "very Harbor"! I couldn't agree more! Harbor's Got Talent is a(nother) way we focus on kids' unique strengths, building self-confidence and skills of risk-taking and perseverance. Not to mention, it's a whole lot of fun.

The rehearsals yesterday morning were just wonderful - we are all in for a treat tonight! The acts are diverse and unique to each child - and most importantly, are talents the students are proud to showcase. Kids who might not otherwise be comfortable getting up in front of an audience feel safe and comfortable in our Harbor community to show off an interest or strength. It's a beautiful thing!

I have to say, in watching yesterday's rehearsals, I found a little tear in my eye as I thought to myself, "I have the best job ever".  We hope you will join us this evening, whether or not your child is performing. See you tonight!
