Dear Harbor Families,

As you know, this is a significant moment in time for our school. After 27 years in our current location at St. George, we are making an exciting move to the Har Shalom synagogue just down the road in Potomac. If you've been at Harbor for a while, you know that we have been planning for this move for a long time. Once our exciting announcement was finally made in February, we began making plans for a really special celebration - and we won't let a little thing like a global pandemic get in the way of that! Sarcasm, of course; however, the decision to carry on with a virtual celebration and auction was made with careful consideration of families' changing situations, balanced with a pull to continue to come together as a community, support one another, and recognize the significance of a new location for our special school.

We have an awesome team planning for a really fun event next Friday night! We look forward to gathering our community to learn more about our new location, play some fun interactive games, enjoy a video highlighting what makes our school so very special, and make toasts to an exciting future for Harbor!

Whether you are able to come to the virtual event or not, our annual auction will begin on Friday and continue throughout the weekend. There are some great auction items that you won't want to miss out on, including fun Zoom experiences with teachers, class baskets, and items we could all use while in quarantine (you know, the basics, like hand sanitizer and wine).
