HAPPY SPRING BREAK!
March 21, 2024

Dear Harbor Families,

It was wonderful to see so many of you at last week’s Harbor’s Got Talent, which is a quintessential Harbor event! The performances were just fabulous and represented so many unique interests and strengths! Our second and third graders did a wonderful job performing their original play, and we started the evening with a video performance by the faculty and staff about our 50th Anniversary - to the tune of Gilligan’s Island. In case you missed it, you can view it here!

Despite the oscillating temperatures this week, we are officially in the spring season! There is anticipation in the air at Harbor as teachers and students look forward to the spring break next week, and we are looking forward to the excitement of the spring season at Harbor following our return to school on Tuesday, April 2nd!

I’m a list maker, so I thought it might be helpful to give you a short list of a few things to keep on your mind as we move into the final stretch of the school year after spring break:

  • Remember that registration for enrichment classes, hot lunch, and extended day is due tomorrow for the spring session, which will begin on April 2nd, the day we return to school.

  • If you haven’t yet gotten your tickets to the 50th Anniversary Golden Gala, now is the time to take care of that! It is going to be a incredible evening in a stunning setting, and we hope very much to have the full community join us! Please purchase your tickets by April 1st, so we can have an accurate head count for the caterer.

  • Register for Camp HarborWe are planning seven weeks of exciting themes, Wednesday water play, and many special activities!

  • Feel free to sign up now for a conference with your child(ren)’s teacher(s) on April 18 or 19. Links to sign up for each class are below.

  • Mark your calendars for the morning of May 17th for our third annual Harbor Celebration of Culture, which is being planned by our DEI Committee!

I wish you all a wonderful spring break with your family, whatever it may hold for you!

Warmly,

Leah Musico
