Thank you for your interest in The Harbor School! At Harbor, our educational philosophy comes to life through joyful, hands-on, inquiry-based learning, meaningful relationships, and a deep commitment to knowing and nurturing each child.
We invite you to experience the Harbor difference for yourself by joining us for an Open House or an individual tour. At an Open House, you’ll meet our expert educators, explore our classrooms, and see joyful, hands-on, inquiry-based learning in action. You can Register for an upcoming Open House or contact our admissions team to arrange an individual tour at a time that works for your family.
Our primary entry points are Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, and Kindergarten, though we also welcome new students into grades 1–3. Our intentionally small classes and low teacher-to-student ratios allow our faculty to understand each child’s unique strengths, interests, and learning needs, creating an environment where every child is known, celebrated, and challenged to grow.
Throughout the admissions process, you will have opportunities to connect with our admissions team, meet Head of School Colleen Brown, and learn more about our academic, social-emotional, and physical development programs. We consider the whole child as we get to know each applicant and family.
Our carefully designed curriculum prepares Harbor graduates for their next-step schools, which include a wide variety of educational settings and philosophies. This reflects our belief that every child is an individual, with unique strengths, interests, and potential.
We look forward to welcoming you to Harbor, sharing our community and educational approach, and getting to know your family!
Warmly,

Andrea Zuraf
