Dear Friends of The Harbor School,

We are pleased to share an update on our search for a new home for The Harbor School.

We are engaged in serious talks with two options for lease, both within a three-mile radius from our current location and easily accessible by major roads. Due to the sensitive nature of these negotiations, we are not able to share the locations with the community at this time. We have a high degree of confidence about our options, and we will make an announcement as soon as possible.

Since announcing our plans to move to a new facility (https://harborschool.wpengine.com/future-home/) , our Board of Trustees and Facilities Search Committee have been focused on securing a space to best serve our dynamic program at Harbor. Proximity to our current location has remained a priority. Classrooms with natural lighting, community gathering space, and an outdoor playground have also been important criteria in our search. With both of the facilities we are considering, we would meet each of these criteria and more.

With these positive developments for our future facilities and ongoing enhancements to our strong educational program, our enrollment and financial position are healthy. Harbor has a bright future! Thank you for your continued support during this exciting time in the school’s history.
